Karim Alizad is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at K.N. Toosi University of Technology. He is the director of the Sustainable Hydro-ENvironmental Systems (SHENS) lab, and his research is focused on climate change and sea-level rise effects on water bodies including coasts, lakes, oceans, bays, and other water resources. His lab's main projects goals are to increase the resiliency of ecological and environmental systems and sustainable infrastructures incorporating natural and nature-based features.
