Teaching Experiences and Supervision of M.Sc./PhD
Thesis and Laboratories:
During
the past 10 years of teaching, I have given lectures for the following courses:
1) Principles of Remote Sensing
(B.Sc. level)
2) Computer Programming: C++ and Matlab (B.Sc. level)
3) Image Processing (B.Sc. level)
4) Applications of Remote Sensing
(B.Sc. level)
5) Management of Remote Sensing Data
(M.Sc. level)
6) Optimization and its applications
in Geomatics Engineering (Ph.D. level)
7) Spatial and Radiometric
Calibration of Remote Sensing Sensor (Ph.D. level)
8) Fuzzy Logic and Artificial Neural
Networks in Remote Sensing (M.Sc. level)
9) Applications of Remote Sensing in
Disaster Management
Current year of 2021 I am
responsible for the following courses:
1) Airborne LiDAR Technology and Its
applications (JKIP Students- KNTU & Twente University joint program in
English)
2) Airborne LiDAR Technology and Its
applications (M.Sc. level)
3) Terrestrial LiDAR Technology
(B.Sc.)
4) Physics of Remote Sensing (M.Sc.)
During
the past 10 years, over 40 M.Sc. students are graduated under my supervision of
co-supervision and 3 Ph.D. students are graduated. Now I 3 Ph.D. students are
under my supervision and I have 3 professors from Sweden, South Aftrica and Japan who become their co-supervisors.
I established the faculty laboratory
called Laser Scanners and now a bench mark data is available for public use
through its website.
