The aim of this course is
to provide a unified introduction for students and practitioners
to three distinct and closely related topics:
• Fundamental of
numerical analysis and scientific computing
•
Techniques for solving linear systems and linear
least-squares problems, and for updating matrix
factorizations
• Numerical methods for solving eigenvalue
problems
