Industrial Experience:

         United Defense, York, PA 17405 (1983-2000) Technical Fellow Manager of Numerical Analysis Group. Duties include supervising and directing a technical group's effort performing dynamic and stress analysis of complex structural systems in tracked and wheeled vehicles utilizing the latest computer-aided engineering design and analysis techniques. Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS), Dynamic Analysis and Design System (DADS), Solid Modeling (UG and CV), Hydraulics System and Feedback Control (Easy5 and MatLab) are extensively used. Major Projects Highlight:

1) Stress analysis of the Chassis and Turret of the Paladin vehicle under dynamic loading conditions

2) Modal analysis of the Paladin's Turret & Testing

3) Non-linear transient analysis of the Paladin's Turret structure under blast pressure

4) Stress analysis of the Heavy Assault Bridge Launcher structure

5) Stress analysis of the M88 vehicle lifting boom structure

6) Transient dynamic analysis of Breacher crew compartment under kinetic energy blast

7) Stress analysis of Hull/Crew-compartment structure under mobility operation

8) Transient dynamic analysis of the driver's seat acceleration due to mine blast

9) Stress analysis of the mine clearing blade structure under operating loading conditions

10) Automatic depth control system (ADCS) development for mine clearing Vehicle.
