I theoretically develop statistical inference connected to the Bayes, empirical Bayes, hierarchical Bayes and robust Bayes frameworks. I implement the methodology to solve real-world problems in a broad range of contexts including the analysis of large-scale genetic association data, learning parameter and structure of Bayesian networks, time-to-event data analysis, and sample size determination in clinical trials. I have recently started working on robust Bayes multiple hypothesis testing designed for the analysis of large-scale genetic association data.
