Maxin is a formally registered research laboratory at K. N. Toosi University of Technology, bringing together faculty members, researchers, and talented students with complementary expertise in applied mathematics, optimization, data science, artificial intelligence, and computer science. The laboratory is dedicated to developing rigorous, interdisciplinary research and translating scientific methods into practical solutions for complex real-world problems. Its activities span mathematical modeling, optimization and decision science, data-driven analysis, intelligent algorithms, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and the design of decision-support tools. Through collaboration with academic and industrial partners, Maxin seeks to address challenging problems in planning, resource allocation, operations, logistics and supply chains, engineering and infrastructure systems, forecasting, scheduling, risk and uncertainty, and other domains where data, mathematical models, and intelligent computational methods can improve decisions, efficiency, and the use of limited resources.
