About HFCAS

HFCAS laboratory was established in 2011 by Dr. Mehdi Ehsanian at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. The research area of HFCAS laboratory concentrates on high frequency circuits and systems and their applications. Owing to the significant growth in wireless communications in recent years, the research program of high frequency circuits design has become more interesting. Therefore, HFCAS goal is based on research in this field. In this Lab, research opportunities for students interested in high frequency circuits design have been provided. As well, HFCAS play an important role in the development of industry in this regard.

HFCAS Research Areas

• Design and implementation of communication blocks chip for different standards.
• Design and fabrication of wide-band communication systems.
• Design and fabrication of high speed processing and control systems .
• Design and fabrication of tester and BIST.
• Design and fabrication of RF circuits (Frequency Synthesizer, Data Recovery Circuits, Data Convertors, Mixed Signal Circuits, LNA, and PA)
