Welcome to High Frequency Circuits and Systems (HFCAS) research laboratory website. HFCAS laboratory is an electronics laboratory in Electrical Engineering Department of K. N. Toosi University of Technology, which was established in 2011. HFCAS primary objective is promoting research and innovation in the field of electronics.
This lab started with research core of high-frequency circuits and with limited facilities. However, it has gradually expanded its activities in other areas and active students in M.Sc. and Ph.D programs were employed in the laboratory. Today, by developing the necessary infrastructure and laboratory facilities, the laboratory plays an important role not only in the research activity index of the faculty of Electrical Engineering in K. N. Toosi University, but also in Iran. HFCAS activities can be fully studied in the research section, but in general, the laboratory has two distinct characteristics: first, the quantity and quality of the research carried out in this laboratory, which is proved with pinpointing the articles published in prestigious scientific journals and conferences and their number of citations; secondly, a dynamic research management that considers individuals with managerial characteristics based on "researcher’s orientation" and "managerial independence in research programs". HFCAS laboratory not only internationally focuses on the academic research, which results in producing knowledge and technology, but also carries out applied research and particular engineering services in its defined programs, which aimed at responding to the needs of various industries and organizations at the national level. Moreover, collaborating with other research laboratories in various ways have always been a part of the laboratory's work routine.
