Metal Forming Lab
In this laboratory, researching on variety of bulk and sheet metal forming processes is available. Research fields in this laboratory include but are not limited to the following:
- Forming and Formability Investigation of Multi-layer, Sandwich and FGM Sheets
- Parameter Optimization in Forming Processes
- Micro and Nano manufacturing
- Incremental forming
- Stretch forming
- Hydroforming
- spinning
This Laboratory is equipped with a small hot press, single point and two point incremental forming die, strech forming die, sheet hydroforming die, spinning tools, warm u and v bending dies, ECAP die.
